We are launching our KI-MiniLab lab – a crisp, hands-on format in which we work with our AI expert to shed light on various aspects of artificial intelligence.

In the MiniLab #1 is about creating a first overview of the topic of AI, explaining terms and clearing up myths. What exactly is AI? Where does AI already meet us in everyday life? What can AI do and what cannot (yet) do?

In a short keynote speech, our AI expert Sophia Schulze-Weddige gives a first overview of the topic of AI. We learn:

  • What does supervised and unsupervised learning, neural network, deep learning, bias and large language models mean?
  • How is such an AI model trained?
  • Where do we find AI in our everyday lives?

This first insight serves as a basis for further sessions and is aimed at all those who still have a big question mark in their head when it comes to AI. In addition to the input, there is always time for questions!

What is the AI MiniLab?

In the AI MiniLab, we offer compact units on various topics relating to artificial intelligence. Our goal is to reduce fears of contact, to impart practical knowledge and to promote participation.

Each appointment is a stand-alone “puzzle stone” dealing with a specific topic. However, the dates do not build directly on each other, so you can specifically choose the topics that appeal to you.

Who is the AI MiniLab for?

The KI-MiniLab is aimed at all interested parties from non-profit organizations in Germany. No prior knowledge is required and we always take the time to answer questions.

For each appointment, we specify what it is about and what you will learn. So you can decide for yourself whether you are interested in the topic and the level suits you.
